The Christmas Event 2016 is a temporary event, which began on 10th December 2016 and ended on 19th January 2017.
Ancient Portal[]
It's a strange ancient portal.
The Christmas Realm is not marked on the world map and the only way there is via the Christmas Ancient Portal located at the very beginning of the Amero Kingdom. Also, the only way back to the Amero Kingdom is via the Christmas Ancient Portal in the Christmas Realm.
Player can freely move between the worlds. There is no charge for using the Portal.
The Christmas Ancient Portal is only available and activated during the Christmas Event.

The level of the Challenges depends on the highest level the player has ever reached (denoted as x in following table). The Christmas Challenges were closed on 19th January 2017. Even if the you stayed in the Christmas Realm, you can't enter the challenges.

Christmas Currency[]
During the time of the event Christmas Gift were another currency in game. The presents were dropped randomly after destroying a building. This applies to everyone house of all kingdoms and the Chistmas Realm. Normally one hundred Houses dropped one gift.
The gain of presents could be raised by collecting unique Christmas Items at the Christmas Item Dump or at the Christmas Challenges. Every gift no matter of size or color counts one at the gift amount.

After the 19th January 2017 all collected gifts were automatically exchanged for two 
Broken Orbs. Players were not allowed to keep the gifts they collected.

Christmas Houses[]
The houses of the Christmas Realm are similar to the houses of the Amero Kingdom. The only difference is the snow on the roofs.
